How do I share a trophy?

Create a public link to show a harvest to your family and friends or to your hunting society. The link opens without an account, in read-only mode, and you can turn it off whenever you want. You share your own harvests. Nobody else can create a link to your logbook. ## On mobile ### Sharing a harvest 1. **Hunts** tab, tap **Trophies**, then the harvest to share. 2. Tap the share icon at the top of the screen. 3. On the "Share this trophy" sheet, the link appears. Tap **Copy**, or **Share…** to send it by message, by email or through another app. ### Showing or hiding the shot location 1. Open the "Share this trophy" sheet. 2. Turn **Show the shot location** on or off. When off, the link shows no position. When on, it shows the exact location of your shot: keep it for people you trust. ### Showing or hiding your name 1. Open the "Share this trophy" sheet. 2. Turn **Show my name** on or off. When off, the shared page says "Un chasseur" (a hunter) instead of your name. The switch is off on a new link. ### Turning off sharing 1. Open the "Share this trophy" sheet. 2. Tap **Disable this link**. The message "Sharing disabled" confirms that the link no longer works. ### Sharing your whole harvest record Sharing the full record can only be done on the web. ## On the web ### Sharing a harvest 1. **My trophies** menu, click the harvest to share. 2. Open a harvest's "Share this trophy" window. 2. Turn **Show my name** on or off. The message "Your name is visible on the link" or "Your name is hidden on the link" confirms the setting. When off, the shared page says "Un chasseur" (a hunter) instead of your name. The switch is off on a new link. ### Turning off sharing for a harvest 1. Open a harvest's "Share this trophy" window. 2. Click **Disable this link**. ### Sharing your whole harvest record 1. **My trophies** menu, click **Share** at the top of the page. 2. In the "Share my harvest record" window, click **Copy**. 3. To turn off sharing, click **Disable sharing**. This link shows all your published harvests. Only the shot distance appears on it, never the position of your shots. ## Good to know - A harvest's link is created when you open the share screen. Until you have opened it, the harvest has no public link. Exception: an older harvest may already have an active link, even if you have never opened the share screen. To remove it from sharing, open the harvest's share screen, then disable the link. - A draft can't be shared. Publish it first. - A harvest's shared page opens with "Harvest shared by:" followed by your first name and last name if **Show my name** is on, otherwise by "Un chasseur". The full record's link always shows your first name and last name. - The name setting is specific to each harvest. When you turn off a harvest's link, then share it again, the new link starts over with the name hidden. - A harvest link that has been turned off is dead for good. If you share the same harvest again later, a new link is created. - The full record's link, on the other hand, always stays the same: turning off sharing doesn't replace it with another link. - Anyone with the link can open it and pass it on. A link never gives access to your account or to the rest of your logbook. ## Troubleshooting - "The person I sent it to sees: This share is no longer available." for a harvest's link: the link was turned off, or the harvest was deleted. For a harvest that still exists, reopen that harvest's share screen: a new link is created. - "The person I sent it to sees: This share is no longer available." for the full record's link: sharing of the record was disabled, and the link no longer works. - "The shot location doesn't appear on the link": the switch is off: **Show the shot location** on mobile, **Show the shot location on the map** on the web. Turn it on, and the existing link updates by itself. - "My name appears on a harvest's link": the **Show my name** switch is on for that link. Open the harvest's share screen and turn it off. The link's page updates by itself, without changing the address. - "The person I sent it to sees Un chasseur instead of my name": the **Show my name** switch is off. Turn it on if you want your name to appear on the link. - "I no longer want to show the position": turn off the switch. The coordinates disappear from the link without having to change it. - "Link unavailable" on mobile: the link couldn't be created.
