How do I view my notifications?

The bell gathers your invitations, your payments and the alerts from your hunts. On mobile, you can respond to an invitation without leaving the list. ## On mobile ### Opening your notifications 1. **Home** tab, tap the bell at the top of the screen. A badge shows the number of unread notifications. 2. The "Notifications" screen sorts them by date, under the headings AUJOURD'HUI (today), HIER (yesterday), CETTE SEMAINE (this week) and PLUS ANCIEN (older). 3. Tap a notification to mark it as read and open the item it concerns. 4. Pull the screen down to refresh the list. ### Marking as read 1. For a single notification without opening it: swipe it to the left, then tap **Read**. 2. To mark everything at once: tap the tick icon at the top of the screen. It only appears if there are still unread notifications. ### Responding from a notification 1. On a hunt invitation, tap **Accept** or **Decline**. 2. The notification then shows "Attendance confirmed" or "Invitation declined". This message stays while the screen is open: when you reopen it, the two buttons appear again. To see your response again, open the hunt. A meal already paid for, or past the booking deadline, stays as it was. ### Opening the live hunt from a game report 1. **Home** tab, tap the bell at the top of the screen. 2. On a game report notification, tap **View the live hunt**. The hunt in progress opens. ## On the web 1. Click the bell at the top of the screen. A badge shows the number of unread notifications. 2. The "Notifications" panel opens: unread ones first, then the others under the heading EARLIER. 3. Click a notification to mark it as read and open the item it concerns: a hunt, a hunting ground, a message from the hunting ground or the contacts. 4. To mark everything at once, click **Mark all as read**, at the top of the panel. This button only appears if there are still unread notifications. 5. **Manage my notifications**, at the bottom of the panel, takes you to your settings. Responding to an invitation directly from the notification is only possible in the mobile app. On the web, click the notification to open the hunt and respond from its page. ## Good to know - The bell shows your 50 most recent notifications. - Read notifications are deleted after 30 days, unread ones after 90 days. - Your notification settings cover emails and notifications on the phone. The bell keeps receiving your notifications. - The only exception: a membership fee reminder isn't created if you have turned off both emails and notifications for that hunting ground. - Beyond 9 unread notifications, the bell's badge shows "9+", on mobile as on the web. ## Troubleshooting - "I have no notifications": the screen shows "No notifications" as long as nothing has been sent to you. Notifications arrive when you are invited, registered for a hunt or a member of a hunting ground. - "I no longer receive anything on my phone or by email": check **Push notifications** and **Email notifications** in your settings, as well as the hunting ground in question in the **By hunting ground** section. - "I can't find an old notification": it was probably deleted after 30 days if it was read, 90 days otherwise, or it is no longer among the 50 most recent. - "I don't see Accept and Decline": these buttons only appear on mobile, on a hunt invitation. After your response, they are replaced by the confirmation message until the screen is closed. - "Couldn't load your notifications." (mobile): the list couldn't be read.
