How do I add the hunting ground plan to a hunt?

Link the lines of your hunting ground's harvest plan to a specific hunt. You set a target for the day, and the live hunt counts the animals harvested against that target. To add a line to a hunt's plan, you must be the hunt's creator, the administrator or a manager of the hunting ground, or hold the **Edit all events** permission. ## On mobile ### Add a line from the hunting ground plan 1. Open the hunt, tap **Manage**, then **Harvest plan & tags** in the "Map & hunting ground" section. 2. Tap the **＋** button at the top right. The "Add to harvest plan" sheet opens. 3. It lists the hunting ground plan lines for the hunt's season, sorted by species, with their categories, the remainder for the season and the tag code. A line already added is greyed out, labelled "Already added". 4. Tap a line. The sheet shows "Left this season:" and "Tag code:". 5. Enter the **Target for this hunt**, then tap **Add to harvest plan**. Available from version 4.2.7 of the app. In an older version, the list isn't filtered by the hunt's season. ### Track a species not in the hunting ground plan 1. In the "Add to harvest plan" sheet, tap **Add a species outside the plan**. 2. Pick the species. Hunting ground species sit at the top; **Show more species** opens the full catalogue. 3. Pick the **Details (optional)**: leave on **All** for an overall quota, or pick a category. 4. Enter the **Quota (target)**. The **Outside the harvest plan** tick box is already ticked. 5. Tap **Add to harvest plan**. If the hunting ground has no plan line for the hunt's season, the sheet opens straight on "Choose a species": start at step 2. ## On the web ### Add a line from the hunting ground plan 1. Open the hunt, then the **Harvest plan** section in the left menu. 2. Click **Add a species**, at the top of the page. The "Add to this hunt's plan" window opens. 3. It lists the hunting ground plan lines for the hunt's season, sorted by species, with their categories, the remainder for the season and the tag code. A line already added appears greyed out, labelled "Already added". 4. Click a line. The remainder for the season and the tag code appear. 5. Enter the **Target for this hunt**, 1 by default, then click **Add to harvest plan**. ### Track a species not in the hunting ground plan 1. In the window, click **Add a species outside the plan**. 2. Pick the species. 3. Pick the **Category (optional)**: leave on **All** for an overall quota, or pick a category. 4. Enter the **Target**, then click **Add to harvest plan**. The window points out that the line sits outside the harvest plan. If the hunting ground has no line for the hunt's season, the window opens straight on the species choice. ## Good to know - A line outside the plan doesn't count against the hunting ground's quotas. It is used only to track the hunt. - The hunt target isn't capped by the remainder for the season: check it yourself. - During the live hunt, on mobile, the "Harvest plan" section counts, for a tagged line, the tags attached on the hunt, including those awaiting validation. For an unlimited, untagged or outside-the-plan line, it counts the animals reported as HARVESTED. An animal HARVESTED without a tag therefore doesn't advance a tagged line. Until the number is read, the screen shows "-". - For a line that is outside the plan, unlimited or untagged, the live hunt only shows the number of harvests, without a target or progress bar. - When reporting, for the chosen species, each tag type is only offered once: those of lines linked to the hunt first, then those of the other lines of the hunting ground. In the "Attach a tag" sheet, which opens after a harvest, a "Recommended tags" section appears at the top when tags match the category. ## Troubleshooting - "A line of my plan does not appear": it belongs to a season other than the one of the hunt date. Only the lines for this season are offered, on mobile and on the web. - "This harvest plan line is from a season other than the hunt.": the hunt date has shifted into another season since the screen was opened.
