The map of a drive shows the stands of that drive for the day's hunt, their name for the day and who is placed where. It is for finding your way: no one edits the stands there.
The hunt organiser can open it, as can participants whose attendance is confirmed or who have been marked present.
## On mobile
### Open the map of your drive
1. Open the hunt, **Information** tab.
2. In the "Organisation" section, tap **Maps**.
3. The drive maps are at the top of the list, one per drive. Yours is first, with the "MY DRIVE" badge. Tap it.
Available from version 4.2.9 of the app. In an earlier version, drive maps are found in the **My stand** tab.
Your group is holding a shooting line? Another way: **My stand** tab, "My line" section, tap the line. The drive map opens.
### Organiser: choose a line's group on the map
1. Open the hunt, tap **Manage**, then **Hunter placement**.
2. In the "Summary", tap the drive.
3. In the "Lines" section, tap **View the drive map**.
4. Tap a shooting line to choose a group for it.
Opened by another route, the map doesn't allow this choice.
### Organiser: change the map of a drive
This is for the organiser and those in charge of hunter placement.
1. Open the hunt, tap **Manage**, then **Hunter placement**.
2. In the "Summary", tap the **···** menu, then **Prepare the drives**.
3. In "Drives of the day", tap the drive.
4. Tap the **Drive map** row, then choose a map from the list. The choice is saved straight away.
Another way: on the drive record, tap the **Details for the day** row, choose the map in **Drive map**, then tap **Save**.

## What the map shows
- The stands of the drive, with their name for the day: dark green when a hunter is placed there ("Occupied"), light green when the stand is free ("Free").
- The other stands on the map, as small grey dots ("Outside the drive").
- The shooting lines of the drive, each in its colour. Your line is thick and solid, the others thinner. A line without a group is dashed, and the start of each line is marked.
- The zones on the map.
Tap or click a stand to read its full name ("Stand 3 · Chêne du bas") and the hunter placed there. Tap or click a line to read its size, its group and its leader. The legend lists the three stand states and the list of lines.
The map's title is the drive title followed by the map name: for the drive "Drive 2 · Bois Noir" and the map "Sud", it shows "Drive 2 · Bois Noir · Sud".
## Good to know
- A drive that comes from the hunting ground arrives with its map, which you can replace for the day.
- The list offers "No map", the hunting ground's maps, then this hunt's maps ("(hunt map)"). Confirmed participants can access them without anything being shared.
- A stand in the drive is always shown, even if it is hidden on the map itself. A stand outside the drive that is hidden on the map doesn't appear.
- On mobile, the **My stand** tab also offers "My stand on the map", or "My stands on the map" if you are placed on several stands. If you are on the same stand in two drives, it has only one dot with both names, for example "3 / 12".
- During a live hunt (on mobile), the live map highlights the stands and lines of the current drive. It changes when the organiser moves to the next drive. Only hunting ground members see the stands.
- To show it at the briefing, use Projection mode: see [How do I project a map during the briefing?](article:how-do-i-project-a-map-during-the-briefing). Hiding **Stands** also hides the names of placed hunters, the shooting lines and the legend.
- A map shared publicly shows neither a drive nor a placed hunter.
- The stands, lines and names shown are for information only. The decision to shoot remains the shooter's.
## Troubleshooting
- "I don't see my drive map": your attendance isn't yet confirmed, or no drive has a map that your account can view. A drive without a map doesn't appear in the list.
- "I don't see the maps in the Information tab": your app is earlier than version 4.2.9. Update it, or go through the **My stand** tab.
- "A stand is missing from the map": it has no GPS position.
- "The maps could not be loaded. The drive map remains unchanged." on the web: the list of maps couldn't be read, and the map choice is locked to the current map. Click **Try again**, next to the message.
- "The maps could not be loaded. The drive map remains unchanged." on mobile: the list of maps couldn't be read, and the map choice is locked to the current map. On the drive record, tap **Try again**, below the settings. In **Details for the day**, close the sheet then reopen it.
- The map won't load: check your connection and try again. If the message says the map no longer exists or you don't have access, ask the organiser.
