Your licence, validation and insurance aren't visible to everyone. Three situations give access to the details of your licence, plus the attendance sheet of a hunt you are registered for. Views are logged so you can review them.
## The three situations where your licence is visible
### The committee of a hunting ground of which you are a member
The administrator and managers of the hunting ground see your licence number and IDGU, your validation and your insurance, for as long as your membership is active. They don't see your date of birth, your address or your documents. Joining a hunting ground means sharing this information with its committee. As soon as you leave the hunting ground or are removed, this access ends.
### The organisers of a hunt you are attending
When you confirm your attendance, or when you are marked present, the hunt organiser, the administrator and the managers of the hunting ground see your licence number, your validation and your insurance, to check that everything is in order.
This access closes at the end of the day after the hunt. After that, the organiser only sees whether you were compliant on the day of the hunt: "Compliant" or "Not compliant". The administrator and the managers of the hunting ground keep the details for as long as you are an active member, as in the previous situation.
If it was the organisers who set your status on your behalf, rather than your own response, access only opens from the day of the hunt.
### Anyone who has your share link
You create this link yourself, and you can cut it at any time. More details below.
## Sharing your licence by link
An organiser doesn't use Mes Chasses, or you aren't yet registered for their hunt? Send them a link. They open it in their browser, without an account and without the app.
Creating the link is only done in the mobile app.
### Create the link
1. **Account** tab, then **Licences**.
2. Tap the share icon at the top of the screen. It appears once you have saved a licence.
3. In "Share my licence", choose the duration under "Valid for": **7 days**, **30 days** or **End of season**.
4. Tap **Create the link**.
5. Tap **Copy** or **Share** to send it by the method of your choice.
### Replace or cut your link
You only have one active link at a time.
1. **Account** tab, then **Licences**, then the share icon at the top of the screen. The "Share my licence" sheet shows the expiry of the active link, with **Copy**, **Share**, **Create a new link** and **Deactivate the link**.
2. To replace it, tap **Create a new link** and confirm. Choose the duration under "Valid for", then tap **Create the link**. The old link stops working as soon as the new one is created.
3. To cut it without creating another, tap **Deactivate the link** and confirm. It is cut straight away.
The link also stops on its own at its expiry, if you delete your licence, or if you request deletion of your account.
## What the share link page shows
- A badge "Compliant" or "Not compliant", with the reason if something is missing.
- Your name, your licence number, the country and issue date. For a French licence, its type. For a foreign licence, the issuing authority, its validity dates and its season.
- Your validation: number, type and dates. For a departmental validation, a "Small game" line and a "Big game" line with the departments; for a national validation, "All game, all of France". If the dates were filled in automatically, the page shows "To check" in their place.
- Your insurance: insurer, number and expiry.
- At the bottom: the link expiry date, the view date and time, and the mention "Information declared by the hunter in Mes Chasses."
The page never shows your date of birth, your address, your IDGU or your documents. An incomplete licence can still be shared: the page then says "Not compliant" and why. The information is read live: if you update your licence, the link shows the new version.
Once the link is cut, anyone who opens it reads "This link is no longer valid. Ask the hunter for a new one."
## See who has viewed your licence
Every view by the committee of a hunting ground or by the organisers of a hunt is logged. Every opening of your share link is logged too. You can find them for the last 12 months.
### On mobile
1. **Account** tab, then **Licences**.
2. Tap **Who can see my licence** at the bottom of the screen. This button appears once you have saved a licence.
### On the web
1. Click your name at the bottom of the menu ("My account"), then the **Licence & validation** tab.
2. Scroll down to the **Who can see my licence** block.
### What the list says
Each line shows the hunting ground and, where applicable, the dated hunt. If the hunt has no hunting ground, it shows the hunt alone; for your share link, "Shared link". It never gives the name of the person who viewed.
The possible reasons are: "Licence checks for the hunt", "Hunt documents", "Member records for the hunting ground", "Opening of your shared link".
There is one line per hunt (or per hunting ground for member records), for the same reason and the same day. Two hunts on the same hunting ground on the same day therefore produce two lines. If your licence was viewed several times that day, the line states this in brackets.
If no one has viewed it, the screen shows "No one has viewed your licence in the last 12 months." Older views are deleted.
## The attendance sheet
The attendance sheet of a hunt shows the licence, validation and insurance numbers of those present. The organisers read it until the end of the day after the hunt. After that, others' numbers no longer appear: only the committee of the hunting ground keeps reading those of active members, and everyone keeps their own line.
Confirmed or present participants only see it if the hunting ground has allowed it, and only on the day of the hunt. By default, they don't see it.
Views of the attendance sheet aren't listed in "Who can see my licence". They remain logged, and your data export contains the full log, including the attendance sheet.
Other documents shared with a hunt's registrants never show licence numbers.
## What no one else sees
Being in someone's contacts doesn't give them any access to your licence, even if their contact record is linked to your account. Nor does an organiser whose invitation you haven't confirmed.
A hunt's registrants, syndicate members and ordinary members of a hunting ground don't see the licence details of others. Their only exception is the attendance sheet of a hunt where they are confirmed or marked present, when the hunting ground opens it to them: they see it on the day of the hunt, with the numbers of those present.
Outside these cases, only the Mes Chasses team can read your licence.
## For organisers and managers
When the details of a licence are no longer visible, the screen doesn't hide them silently. The record shows "Private licence": this means you don't have the right to view it, not that the person has no licence.
- Former member of the hunting ground: "This licence is only visible while the person is an active member of the hunting ground."
- Participant whose details are hidden (hunt more than one day past, or person whose account was confirmed on their behalf before the day of the hunt): the screen shows "The licence detail is not visible at this time. It opens on the day of the hunt when the organisers confirmed the person on their behalf, and closes after the day after the hunt. Compliance for the day of the hunt remains shown." Their result for the day remains visible: compliant or not compliant.
- Contact in your personal address book linked to an account: "This licence remains private. You will see it if the person attends a hunt you organise: as soon as they confirm themselves, or from the day of the hunt if you confirmed them on their behalf, and until the day after the hunt."
Where to read this result for the day:
- On the web, in the **Licence checks** tab of the hunt, the message appears above the table. When all rows are hidden, the column is titled "Compliant on the day of the hunt"; each row shows the badge "Compliant" or "Not compliant".
- In the licence check export, the "Status" column shows "Compliant" or "Not compliant" for these rows.
- On mobile, in the "Licence compliance" screen of the hunt, the message appears above the licence list. The participant's record shows the badge "Compliant" or "Not compliant".
A hunter can also send you their licence link. It opens in the browser, without an account, until the expiry they chose.
## Troubleshooting
- "I cannot see the share icon in My licence": it only appears once a licence is saved.
- "A view line surprises me": write to us from the help centre, we will check with you.
- "Unable to load your share link.": try again. If the message persists, your existing link isn't lost; don't create a new link unnecessarily.
