Why is my validation 'to check'?

Last updated
On some licences, Mes Chasses shows "Validation to check" instead of "Licence complete" or the validation end date. This applies to validations that nobody has confirmed. ## On mobile ### Correct your own licence Available from version 4.2.8 of the app. 1. **Account** tab, then **Licences**. The licence badge shows "Validation to check" and the **Period** line shows "To check". 2. Tap the pencil at the top of the screen. 3. In the "Validation" block, enter the **Validation no.** (printed on your validation certificate) and check the dates. 4. Tap **Save my licence**. Click **Update**. ## Good to know - On the record of a contact or member without an account whose licence you entered, the validity end line shows "To check" instead of the date. - Ask the hunter for their validation certificate for the season before correcting their record. You can also send them a reminder link from the licence checks of a hunt, so they can complete it themselves. - When hunters have their own account, they correct their licence themselves. ### Where this message comes from Until October 2026, when a licence was saved without a validation date, Mes Chasses gave it the full season by default, from 1 July to 30 June, with no validation number. This happened, for example, when registering for a hunt. These dates weren't read from any document: they may or may not be correct. Rather than showing them as a real validation, Mes Chasses flags them. The licence doesn't pass "Licence OK", and the licence checks of a hunt classify it as "To check". The message disappears as soon as the validation is corrected: its number, dates, extent or duration. ## Troubleshooting - "I cannot see Validation to check in the app, only on the web": your app is older than version 4.2.8. Update it. - "The message still shows after my correction": the validation wasn't changed. Check that the number or dates were actually saved. ## See also - [How do I remind hunters about their licence?](article:how-do-i-remind-hunters-about-their-licence) - [How do I manage a member's licence?](article:how-do-i-manage-a-members-hunting-licence) - [How do I scan my hunting licence?](article:how-do-i-scan-my-hunting-licence)
