The member list gathers everyone linked to your hunting ground, with or without a Mes Chasses account, along with their hunting documents and membership information. Use it to keep the register of your association or your ACCA (municipal hunting association): who is a member, who is up to date with their membership fee, which documents are filled in, and who sits on the committee.
To open the member list, you need the "View the team" permission (on the web, "Invite members" also gives access). Creating, editing, importing or removing records is reserved for the administrator and managers.
## On mobile
### Opening the member list
1. **Hunting grounds** tab, open the hunting ground.
2. Under "Administration", tap **Members**.
3. The list shows active members. Search with **Search (name, no.)**.
4. Tap **Filter** to combine **Former members**, **With account**, **Committee member** and **Up to date with membership fee** (this last filter only appears if membership fees are turned on for the hunting ground). Tap **Sort** to sort by **Name**, **No.** or **Committee role**.
At the top of the list, the "Invitation code" card can be copied with a tap and shared with **Share**. The "Pending requests" and "Likely duplicates" blocks appear above the list when there is something to handle.
### Adding a person
1. Tap the add icon in the top right corner (silhouette with a +).
2. Choose **Scan the validation**, **Add a member** (record entered by hand), **From my contacts** or **From your phone contacts**.
With **From my contacts**, contacts who have a Mes Chasses account join the hunting ground at the "Member" level. Their access can then be adjusted on their record. Contacts without an account receive the invitation link through the phone's share menu. When the plan's member limit is reached, all contacts go through this share.
### Processing pending requests
Reserved for the administrator and managers.
1. **Hunting grounds** tab, open the hunting ground, under "Administration", tap **Members**.
2. In the "Pending requests" block, at the top of the list, tap **Accept** on the person's card to welcome them.
3. To decline, tap the cross on the person's card, then confirm.
### Inviting a person without managing the member list
For a member who has the "Invite members" permission but can't manage the member list: the add icon doesn't appear.
1. **Hunting grounds** tab, open the hunting ground, under "Administration", tap **Members**.
2. To give the code, tap the "Invitation code" card to copy it, or **Share**.
3. To invite contacts from your contacts, tap the "..." menu in the top right, then **Invite by email**. The "Invite members" sheet opens.
4. Tick the contacts, then tap **Invite (2)** (the number follows your selection). The phone's share menu opens with the invitation link: choose the sending app.
### Editing the record of a member who has a Mes Chasses account
1. Tap the member to open their record, then the pencil icon at the top.
2. Choose their **Access level** (Manager, Syndicate member or Member). The change applies straight away.
3. On the record, fill in if needed the **Member number**, **Committee member** and the **Role**.
4. Tap **Save**.
Their identity and licence come from their account and can't be changed here. **Active member** stays locked as long as their account is active: to make them a former member, remove them from the hunting ground.
### Editing the record of a member without an account
1. Tap the member to open their record, then the pencil icon at the top.
2. Fill in their identity and licence.
3. On the record, fill in the **Member number**, **Active member**, **Committee member** and the **Role**.
4. Tap **Save**.
This record has no **Access level**: that field only appears for a member who has an account.
Importing a list, exporting, printing, bulk actions and quick views are done on the web.
## On the web
### Opening the member list
1. **Hunting grounds** menu, open your hunting ground.
2. In the navigation, Administration section, open the **Members** tab.
3. Above the table, the quick views each show their count: **All** (active members), **No account**, **Licence to complete**, **Membership fees due**, **Committee** and **Former**. The search accepts a last name, a first name or a number.
The **Membership fees due** view only appears if membership fees are turned on for the hunting ground.
### Adding people
Everything goes through the **Add** button in the top right. Its menu offers up to two sections, depending on your permissions:
- "Add to the member list" (**Create a record**, **Scan the validation**, **Import a list**): for the administrator and managers.
- "Invite to Mes Chasses" (**Invite by email**, **Share the access code**): for anyone with the "Invite members" permission.
A member who only has "Invite members" only sees the invitation section.
#### Creating a record
1. Click **Add**, then **Create a record**.
2. Fill in the record, then click **Add the member**.
#### Scanning the validation
1. Click **Add**, then **Scan the validation**.
2. Choose the photo or PDF of the validation. The record form opens and fills in automatically.
3. Check the record, then click **Add the member**.
#### Importing a list
1. Click **Add**, then **Import a list**.
2. Paste your table into the window.
3. Click **Analyse**, then **Confirm**.
The expected header is `No.;Last name;First name;Email;Phone;Licence;IDGU;Validation;Insurance`: columns are recognised by their name, in any order, and any other column is ignored. Without a header row, the import uses the old format (Last name;First name;No.;Licence;Validation;Insurance;Email;Phone). Each imported record is created as active. A malformed IDGU (other than 14 digits) is ignored for its row; a row whose licence or IDGU already exists in the member list is skipped.
#### Inviting a person
1. Click **Add**.
2. Under "Invite to Mes Chasses", click **Invite by email** or **Share the access code**.
### A member's record
Click a member to open their record: Identity, Hunting licence, Committee role, Access & permissions. The Hunting licence section is only visible to the administrator and managers, with the licence status ("Valid", "Expiring soon", "Expired" or "Validation to check").
Click **Edit** to fill in the surname, first name, member number, phone, the licence for a member without an account, **Active member**, **Committee member** with their **Committee role**, and an optional email in the "Does this person have an account?" section. For a member who has a Mes Chasses account, their identity and licence come from their account and can't be changed here.
The membership fee is managed in the **Membership fees** tab; the record shows the status with a **View in Membership fees** link. Details are in [How do I manage the membership fees of my hunting ground?](article:how-do-i-manage-the-membership-fees-of-my-hunting-ground).
### Processing requests and invitations
When someone requests to join the hunting ground, or an invitation is still awaiting a response, a "To review" block appears at the top of the list. Requests are only visible to the administrator and managers; pending invitations are only visible to people who have the "Invite members" permission. The block disappears once there is nothing left to review.
1. For a request, click **Accept** or **Decline**. **Accept all** appears from 2 requests onward.
2. For an invitation awaiting a response, click **Resend** or **Revoke**.
### Bulk actions
Tick the members you want: an action bar appears at the bottom of the screen.
- **Add to a hunt**: registers the selection for a hunt on the hunting ground.
- **Access level...**: Manager, Syndicate member or Member.
- **Status...**: Active or Former.
- **Remove**: deletes the selected records from the member list, after confirmation.
A member who has an active account is skipped when you choose **Status...** then Former, and by **Remove**: instead, remove them from the hunting ground via their record, using the **Remove from the hunting ground** button. A message tells you.
### Changing the access level of several members
1. Tick the members you want. The action bar appears at the bottom of the screen.
2. Open the **Access level...** list.
3. Click **Manager**, **Syndicate member** or **Member**.
Only members who have a Mes Chasses account change level. Records without an account, the administrator and yourself are skipped. A message summarises the result, for example "2 levels changed, 1 skipped (no account, administrator or yourself)." If nothing in the selection can change, the message is "No eligible connected member in the selection (no account, administrator or yourself)."
If a change fails, the message gives the number of successes, the number of failures and the reason, for example "1 level changed, 1 failed:" followed by the reason. When no change succeeded, the message gives only the reason.
### Adding a member to a hunt
The administrator and managers can register records from the member list for a hunt on the hunting ground.
1. In the list, click the "..." menu to the right of the member's row, then **Add to a hunt**.
2. In the "Add to a hunt" window, search with **Search for a hunt...** if needed, then click the desired hunt (for example "Driven hunt on 14/09/2026").
A message summarises the result, for example "1 added to the hunt." You can also open the member's record, then click **Add to a hunt**.
If this member is already registered for the chosen hunt, the message is "Already registered for this hunt." and nobody is added a second time. If this member has a Mes Chasses account but no record in the member list, the message starts with "Account without a record: cannot be added" and nobody is added.
### Adding several members to a hunt
1. Tick the members you want. The action bar appears at the bottom of the screen.
2. Click **Add to a hunt**.
3. In the "Add to a hunt" window, click the desired hunt.
If the selection contains at least one record to add, a message tallies what happened, for example "2 added to the hunt, 1 already registered, 1 skipped (account without a record)." A member already registered for this hunt isn't added a second time.
A member who has a Mes Chasses account but no record in the member list can't be added. The window indicates this before the hunt is chosen, with a message starting with "1 account without a record will be skipped".
If all selected members are already registered, the message is "Already registered for this hunt." If all have an account without a record, the message starts with "Account without a record: cannot be added". In both cases, nobody is added.
If the hunt is in draft, the added people are registered but receive their invitation when the hunt is published. The result message mentions this.
### Printing and exporting
1. Open the "..." menu, to the left of the **Add** button.
2. Click **Print the list** or **Export (CSV)**.
**Print the list** downloads a PDF "Member list" with a blank "Signature" column, for signing on paper. **Export (CSV)** downloads the list. If membership fees are turned on, the file contains the columns `No.;Last name;First name;Email;Phone;Licence;IDGU;Validation;Insurance;Season;Status;Committee;Committee role;Membership fee`. Without membership fees, the Season and Membership fee columns are absent.
The PDF and CSV reflect the view, search and sort currently displayed on screen. The same menu offers **Leave the team**, except for the administrator.
## What the list shows
### On mobile
- The access badge shows "No account", "Invitation sent" or the account level ("Administrator", "Manager", "Syndicate member", "Member"). A record set to Former shows "Former member".
- A shield on the photo indicates a Mes Chasses account.
- The membership fee badge is a simple dot. To open the membership fee, open the member's record, then tap **View membership fee**. This line only appears if membership fees are turned on for the hunting ground and you have the right to see them.
### On the web
- The access badge shows "No account", "Invitation sent", "Connected", or the level when it is elevated ("Administrator", "Manager", "Syndicate member").
- A green dot on the initials indicates a Mes Chasses account.
- The membership fee badge opens with a click to the member's membership fee record, if you have the right to see membership fees.
- The list footer shows the number of displayed members and the slots in your plan, for example "20 slots on your plan - 3 remaining".
### On mobile and on the web
- The licence badge shows "Licence OK" when the licence number, the validation number and the insurance number are all filled in, "Licence incomplete" if any is missing, "No licence" if nothing is entered, "Private licence" for a person who has an account but is no longer an active member. It checks that the fields are filled, not the dates. During a validation scan, it shows "Scanning", then updates on its own. If the scan fails, it shows "Scan failed".
- The membership fee badge gives the status of the current season: "Up to date", "Awaiting approval", "To collect" or "Unpaid".
## Good to know
- For a member without an account, untick **Active member** on their record (on mobile and on the web): the record becomes Former. It stays in the member list for the history and no longer counts towards your quota. To delete the record, tap **Delete the record** on mobile (at the bottom of the record for a member without an account, then confirm "Delete this record?"), or click **Remove from the member list** on the web (at the bottom of the record).
- On the web, to set several members as Former at once, tick them, then choose **Status...** and Former.
- A member whose account is active can't be set as Former: **Active member** stays locked. Remove them from the hunting ground from their record, with the **Remove from the hunting ground** button, on mobile and on the web.
- The quota counts active records in the member list, with or without an account. It is capped by your plan: Discovery 2, Standard 20, Premium unlimited. Reactivating a former member takes up a slot.
- The IDGU (single-counter identifier) is a permanent 14-digit code assigned to each hunter. If an older file had a 14-digit number in the Validation column, it was probably the IDGU: the IDGU has its own column.
## Troubleshooting
- "Member limit reached for this hunting ground": your plan is full. Set a member to Former to free a slot, or upgrade to a higher plan.
- "I cannot see the Members tab": you don't have the "View the team" permission. On the web, "Invite members" also gives access.
- "I cannot open a member's record on my phone": you can see the team without being able to manage it. The rows are then read-only.
- "I cannot edit a member's licence": this member has a Mes Chasses account; their licence comes from their account. Only they can update it.
- "I cannot untick Active member": this member has an active account. Remove them from the hunting ground to make them a former member.
- "Some members did not change level after a bulk change": records without an account, the administrator and yourself are skipped. The result message gives the count.
